How long does it take to become certified?

This program has been designed to allow you to work at your own pace. Many students have taken the course while still working at a full-time job. Most students are able to complete the entire program in 12-24 months depending on their time commitments while others have taken a few years. 

The Equi-Bow Canada team has worked hard to make the program more accessible with new online course content, the ability to book private or semi-private in-person instructor training sessions and we’ll continue to make changes as needed. We want you to have the best student experience possible!

Are there any pre-requisites needed?

Other than basic horsemanship knowledge, there are no pre-requisite courses needed outside of Equi-Bow. Students of varying backgrounds have gone through the program successfully.
In order to enroll in the Practitioner Stream, students must have completed the necessary Equi-Bow Foundation Courses, including Assessment Foundations and Horse Owners Foundations. Students must also submit their ‘why,’ complete 3 case studies, and demonstrate their ability to perform a Foundation Body Balance before receiving instructor approval to transition over to the Practitioner Stream Courses.

What does the program cost?

Horse Owners Foundation Courses:

Assessment Foundations - Online : $279
Equi-Bow Foundations - Online : $625
Equi-Bow Foundations - In-person :
Clinic : $250 or Private : $450

Practitioner Stream Course - $10,000+HST

What are case studies?

Case Studies are completed at each level after your formal class training to allow you the opportunity to practice on different horses. The follow are requirements for Case Studies:

EB100 3 Horses @ 3 Sessions Each
EB200 3 Horses @ 3 Sessions Each
EB300 3 Horses @ 3 Sessions Each
EB400 3 Horses @ 3 Sessions Each
EB500 3 Horses @ 3 Sessions Each
EB800 6 Horses @ 5 Sessions Each

DO I need to have my own horses for case studies?

No, you do not need your own horses for case studies. We will help you with finding horses to work on by providing messaging and information to share with those you know.
