(*note: Equi-Bow Foundations must be booked In-Person, privately or at a clinic,  in order to transfer over to our Practitioner Stream. If you have completed Equi-Bow Foundations virtually, and wish to continue to our Practitioner Stream program, contact us to book your in-person training day.

Upon completion of the above EB Horse Owner Courses, students who wish to continue their journey to become a Certified Equi-Bow Practitioner must complete the following:

  • We want to know why you are interested in pursuing this career path and how you feel you will continue to support the equine community.

  • Your instructor will book a call to discuss with you how to complete and submit 3 complete case studies on three horses (2 of which must not be your own)

  • Your instructor will approve your transfer application to our Practitioner Stream course once you have demonstrated:

    • Your ability to perform a Foundation Body Balance in person

    • You have compassion and respect for our equine clients

    • Successful completion of 3 case studies

This process ensures that everyone entering our practitioner program receives the same foundational training, and allows students to build a strong understanding of assessment, anatomy, biomechanics, and our Foundation protocols while fostering compassion and respect for our equine teachers.

program format

Online Learning + Hands-On Training + Zoom Support Calls

Our program is a combination of self-directed online learning, in-person hands-on training and practicum through case studies and homework assignments.

Our students need to be self-motivated and disciplined in order to complete the necessary requirements prior to each hands-on training block.

Zoom calls will be held monthly to check in with your instructors and discuss any questions you may have or interesting experiences around your case studies or self-study sessions. This provides you with a community of students who are also moving through the program to connect and collaborate with throughout your Equi-Bow journey. Our student practitioner community is a key component of our program–it is important to have a safe space where you share your experiences with like-minded people who understand your journey.

Online content will become available to you upon registration so you can begin to lay the foundations for your in-person training. In addition to the online content, you will also gain access to our Student Mentorship Community, a safe space to share, ask questions, and receive support from your fellow students and instructor team. This program also includes access to Concepts in Holistic Equine Nutrition with Sarah Griffiths, DCH of The Animal Synergist, and Equestrian Book Keeping with Christa Myers of Equestrian Bookkeeper

You will attend four in-person training blocks, which are between 2-3 days in length for a total of 10 in-person training days. In-person training blocks are hosted in Schomberg, ON.
